Your Church Needs a Website

There are so many costs involved with running a church. Of course it all begins with greaqt doctrine and a heart for your community.  But there are some tools that are really helpful for communicating with your neighborhood.  In order for your ministry to communicate well, it can be really helpful to to invest in things like invitation cards, business cards, outreach materials, mailers, signage, and the list could go on and on.

With all of these expenses, you might be tempted to hold off on building a website for your church, or even decide you don’t need one.

That would be a mistake.

Word-of-Mouth -VS- a Professional Church Website

You might think that word-of-mouth would be enough. And, although person to person outreach is a very effective tool, it is only half of the equation. The majority of people looking for a church will not go to a church with no website or with a poorly designed website. And nearly half of all ministries in America do not have a website set up.

That means that a professional, well-designed website could be a critical tool in bringing in new families, making new disciples and reaching your community with the gospel.

Most small churches don’t have the time to figure out how to get a website up and going. If it was simply choosing a template and putting in your contact information, you could set that up on your own and get back to what you’re good at – running your church.

Unfortunately, in today’s digital age, there is so much more to a website than that. You have to consider SEO, keywords, analytics, servers, security, social media presence and so much more. It can be overwhelming.

Currently, 97% of all seekers go online to find a church. The fact is, if you are leading a church ministry, you need people to be telling their friends about you AND you need an effective website.
